We are situated in an ideal location outside Easthampstead shops, which has a co-op, fish and chips, Indian, Chinese, Pizza and Polish shop. There are also recycling facilities, a post box and a park outside. The house is about ten minutes walk to Bracknell bus and train station, which marks the edge of the recently refurbished town centre.
The house itself is a three story town house with communal lounge, a lovely garden with BBQ and nice plants. There is parking outside two garages and the other house mate doesn't have a car, so there you have your own personal guaranteed space. There is secure storage for a bike and shelving in the concrete huts in the back. There are two toilets, a shower and a bath. There's a shared kitchen and dining room on the bottom floor and plenty of fridge / freezer space. Your double room is situated on the middle floor which gives nice central access to the rest of the house. It is furnished and has a built in closet. The closet has a closed off water tank, but we've only needed access about twice in the last 8 or so years. I have replaced the mattress since the last tenant left, painted the shelving and washed the carpets. Will attach pics of room shortly..
I like to have friends over occasionally to share a meal and it would be nice to have someone sociable to join us. We have a cleaner who comes over each fortnight and costs £20 which we take in turns to pay. The cleaner doesn't come into the bedrooms which all have locks on, though I don't personally tend to use mine because the other house mate is trust worthy and there is a relaxed atmosphere.
No pets I'm afraid! I'm quite keen on sticking close to the preferred age range also. No couples - the house only has sufficient space to comfortably house 3 people total.
